  A Friday night favourite for catching up with old mates who also have kids.
  Friendly local place. Real people. No pretensions.
  Solid food. Good prices. Great local beer on tap.
  Cash-only, but there's an ATM twenty paces away.
  20 cent pool table.
  $15 mixed grill on Friday nights.
  My kids love the chicken nuggets and buying tickets for the meat raffle.

  Well were to begin on just how terrible this meal was?
  
  We can begin with the fact we were overcharged $7 on the kids menu items.
  
  The "surf & turf" you can pay for and add as an extra to your steak was a piece of frozen I&J hoki.
  
  When our meal was delivered it was the wrong meals.
  
  But as we didnt realise before taking a piece of carrott they couldnt take it back. As a result we had well done steak with mushroom sauce instead of medium rare with peppercorn.
  
  This was a blessing in disguise as when they brought out a ramekin of peppercorn gravy there was a STRONG taste of morning fresh detergent. Upon bringing this to the kitchens attention we were told "no, thats what peppercorn sauce should taste like". As a mother of a 11 and 13 year old who are frequently in dish duty and on occasion forget to rinse, lets just say I know what detergent tastes like!
  
  My partner nearly threw up when I asked her to taste the sauce it was that bad.
  
  The childrens menu items (parmiagana- which had sweetened tomato sauce and cheese) came with icecream and jelly.
  But they hadnt made jelly so icecream it was.
  
  All in all, please do yourself a favour and have Hungry Jacks or Mcdonalds!- your welcome ????
